Funding Application
United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes accepts applications only from registered non-profit organizations. Organizations may apply for single or multi- year funding. If you are a first time applicant you are required to meet with United Way staff prior to submitting the application. This will ensure that your organization request aligns with the United Way community identified priorities. Contact the United Way at 705-878-5081 to discuss funding opportunities for your organization.
Deadline for submitting funding applications for the 2012-2013 term must be delivered to the United Way office @ 50 Mary Street West in Lindsay by Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 12 noon. Incomplete or late submissions will not be processed.

Allocations Process
The process of allocating funds to agencies has undergone a transition in CKL that we feel is much more transparent and accountable. A Citizen Review Panel is created from a pool of board members and volunteers from across the city. These volunteers are committed to making positive and impactful changes in their communities. Every agency that applies must demonstrate a clearly stated purpose and function and provide verification that they are engaged in the planning, delivery and evaluation of such services.
